Inaugural EPM Advisory Council Meeting
Oct. 9-10, 2019, Las Vegas, Nevada
Aria Hotel & Casino
EPM Advisory Council First Meeting
The first Experiences Per Mile Advisory Council took place in early October in 2019. The council was originally formed by HARMAN International and SBD Automotive to discuss how various organizations in the automotive ecosystem can work collaboratively to provide exposure to a new movement (Experiences Per Mile) and to develop the right metrics to analyze performance in this area. The purpose of the Council is to encourage collaboration among an exclusive group of automotive executives, analysts and industry insiders.
The objective of the first meeting will be to discuss the movement from RPM to EPM and what it will mean for the automotive industry. There was an open discussion between members, focusing on thought-leading topics. This will be a learning experience to advance the industry forward—faster.
This meeting will include an open dialogue about what could be achieved and accomplished with such a program. An interactive roundtable discussion will take place during the session and will allow time for all members to voice opinions and share information.
The information resulting from the discussion was summarized after the meeting and it was shared with the respective participating companies. Brainstorming discussions from the first meeting served as a foundation for the Experiences Per Mile 2030 Thought Leadership Report that has since then been created.
